Snowboy — Brand Identity for a Premium Car & Motor Wash Service


The Problem

Snowboy is a car and motor wash service with a clear ambition — to be positioned as a premium, sleek, and trustworthy option in a market dominated by generic, undifferentiated competitors. The challenge was not just visual; it was perceptual. Most car wash brands in the space rely on loud discount-driven messaging and inconsistent visuals, making it nearly impossible for a higher-quality service to communicate its worth at first glance. Snowboy had the service quality, but no visual language to match it. Without a cohesive identity, they risked blending into the noise rather than standing above it.


The Solution

I developed a complete brand identity system for Snowboy under Aptuos Studio — built around a cool blue palette anchored by Ocean Blue (#1a6fa8), with Sunset Orange (#ff7b2c) as a complementary action accent and Fresh Tosca (#00c4b0) as an eco and freshness signal. The color system was designed with clear roles: blue for trust and authority, orange exclusively for CTAs and pricing, tosca reserved for eco service highlights and success states. Typography was led by Urbanist at display weight — a refined, geometric sans that projects premium confidence — supported by DM Sans for body copy and DM Mono for pricing and technical data. Beyond color and type, the system included a complete logo usage guide across four approved backgrounds, four brand patterns (Ice Grid, Droplet Dot, Hex Crystal, Speed Lines), six graphic accent elements, a full UI component library covering buttons, service cards, badges, and form states, and a custom icon set of five hand-crafted service icons — car wash, tune up engine, oil change, AC fix, and shock absorber. A social media kit was produced alongside the guidelines, covering Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and TikTok with post templates, story formats, highlight covers, caption formulas, and a weekly content calendar.


The Outcome

Snowboy now has a brand that communicates premium quality before a customer ever experiences the service — a complete visual system consistent across every touchpoint from signage and vehicle wraps to Instagram posts and WhatsApp messages. The identity positions them clearly above commodity competitors, giving the business a foundation to grow with confidence, attract higher-value customers, and maintain brand consistency independently without relying on a designer for every asset.
